I was not able to reproduce it on Windows.

Mike, I tried rearranging the code around some of the Unix.close calls 
in OMake - although it is hard to tell which one is causing the problem 
you are seeing, it never hurts to try being more careful with Unix.close 
and exceptions. Can you try to do the same thing under the latest 
0.9.8.2 branch HEAD?
