Anastasia,
There is no built-in support for uninstalls in OMake - this is normally
handled by using an appropriate package manager "native" to the
particular OS or distribution.
However, the advice to simply install with a different prefix is a
reasonable one - OMake developers commonly use it for our own testing
(as we often have to deal with several separate versions
simultaneously). Note that the appropriate library path will be compiled
in, so you just need to run the correct omake binary and it will pick
"its own" standard library installation.
