Well, we are not there yet - so it's just a question of which order we
would want the things to get applied to 0.9.8.x... My guess is that
going over all the more involved 0.9.9 stuff and cleaning and
stabilizing it would take a while. This bug is annoying, so if git makes
it easy to apply this to the 0.9.8.x without having to wait for all the
other stuff, it would be nice to do so.
