I'll probably agree with it, once I have some chance to "play" with it a 
bit. The only concern is whether it would be reasonable to call it 
something other than 0.9.8.x, as the language seem to be diverging 
sufficiently. Of course, we'd have to watch for any unexpected 
user-visible side-effects in any case - hopefully we would not get any...
