Aleksey,

Please don't stress, we've been through this kind of thing many times  
before.  But let me reason a little.  This is research, so there are  
times when things are less stable.  I try to be careful, and I don't  
know why things work for me but not for you, but I will fix it.   
Certainly there are times when new ideas (embodied in code) have to  
become mainstream, and they have to be merged to the "trunk".  At  
present, there is nothing compelling to prevent this from happening.   
Collaboration is useful, but the concept of ownership is not.   
Certainly it is not fair to say, for example, that someone "owns" the  
trunk--meaning that I must always work on a branch and wait for some  
stamp of approval that never comes.  Research continues, we can live  
with it.  I'll fix the dependency problem ASAP.
