Dear OMake users,
We are happy to announce that we have just released OMake version 0.9.2.
This is mostly a bugfix release based on the feedback we were getting
from you over the last several days. The changes in this release include:
- Bugs fixed:
o "make install" will no longer create $HOME/.omake as root;
o the -custom option is now a part of OCAML_BYTE_LINK_FLAGS and
can be easily disabled;
o omake should now allow specifying dependencies for the same file
more than once.
- The OMakeroot.src, OMakeroot.default and OMakefile.default are now
under MIT license to allow users to freely borrow from them into their
own omake build files. (The rest of OMake is still under GPL).
- Fixed a number of typos and formatting errors in documentation.
- The .tar.gz and .zip files are now residing on a "proper" web server,
and were removed from the CVS (where the CVSWeb had problems serving
it correctly, causing "double-gzipped" and other problems).
P.S. I have created a separate mailing list - omake-announce at metaprl.org
that is meant to be a low-traffic moderated list for announcing new
versions and such. All announcements will probably go to both lists, so
you only need to subscribe to omake-announce at metaprl.org if you are not
subscribed to omake at metaprl.org.
